Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) - one of the founding fathers of the United States, politician, diplomat, scientist, writer, journalist, publisher. He was the one who signed the US Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution and the Treaty of Versailles in 1783, which formally ended the war for the independence of the thirteen British colonies in North America from Great Britain.
