Acknowledgements

The preparation of this book is the culmination of of about ten years of consultancy studies undertaken on development projects supported by World Vision Kenya. It is based on final evaluations and feasibility studies of WASH programs/projects that were conducted in rural areas of Kenya. The case study areas used were those where World Vision Kenya did identify for the implementation of one year WATSAN Projects and also longer term WASH programs in Integrated Program Area (formerly Area Development Program) areas. The programs/projects covered by the studies were covering a duration of over ten years.

The authors would like to thank most sincerely World Vision Kenya and their staff who were involved in the planning and implementation of development program/ project activities in Turkana (WATSAN Projects), Samburu and Kilifi (WATSAN Project), Kitui (Mutomo IPA), Kajiado(Osiligi IPA) Nakuru (WEMA IPA)and Elgeyo Marakwet(Soin IPA) Counties.
